Re-opening from Monday, May 18th, 2020.

We will begin to see patients in the order that they were cancelled from Monday May 18th, 2020. Due to social distancing requirements we shall obviously see patients at a much lesser volume.

For everyone's health and wellbeing, we are implementing an all-encompassing back-to-work protocol for safe practice.

COVID-19 Updates

Dublin Orthodontics has been classified as providing an essential service and will remain open.

To protect our patients and our colleagues we ask you to follow all of the safety measures we have in place.:

  • All patients are encouraged to wait outside the clinic (e.g. in their car) before being seen. Please phone the clinic you are attending & let us know you have arrived. Our reception team will let you when it is safe to enter.  We’d request that adult patients and teens enter the clinic alone; only young and/ or nervous children are to be accompanied by one adult.
  • Please wear a mask if you are medically fit, We will not be able to provide you with one due to the ongoing scarcity of PPE.
  • Patients will perform hand hygiene with alcohol gel, complete a wellness screen for infection risk and then have their temperatures taken.

We thank you for your patience as we continue to work to keep everyone healthy and safe during these challenging times.

With our best wishes,

Drs. Tony, Brian, Erfan, Jonathan, Chris, Paul and the entire staff at Dublin Orthodontics

Virtual Consultations

Now we’re open… virtually. Drs. Erfan and Tony are reviewing patient-submitted photos daily and providing treatment recommendations and answers to patient questions remotely in our virtual platform and will continue to do so into the future. It’s been inspiring to see our patients and their families hit the ground running with this new experience. Many thanks to those who have been in touch with us and shared updates. If you have any questions about your treatment please visit our websites and use our Virtual Remote Consultation platform to get in touch and easily upload some pictures.

Safety Measures

Since the health and safety of our patients, staff, and the community is our top priority, we have added layers and layers of protection in our offices. We have modified our patient flow to strictly adhere to social distancing guidelines and have changed treatment procedures to reduce the generation of aerosols. Wellness screens, and social distancing guides are the new normal at Dublin Orthodontics.

Temporarily Closing

Dublin Orthodontics have made the difficult, but important, decision to temporarily close our clinics due to the risk of Covid-19 and to do our part to help slow down the spread of infection. You can be assured that this decision was not made lightly but was made to protect patients, staff and families. We are sure you have some questions about your treatment.

Will this delay my treatment?

Check out our update videos from Dr. Erfan Salloum below for information regarding your treatment.

We know part of successful orthodontic treatment is showing up for your appointments however, as that is not an option under these unusual circumstances, it’s okay. Don’t panic. Though your appointments are scheduled out to achieve maximum success, this hiccup shouldn’t have much of an impact on your overall treatment plan. Given the situation, we will work hard to get your treatment plan back on track when we reopen.  You can help keep treatment on track by following some simple directions, continue to avoid hard and sticky foods and keeping your teeth clean.  With only limited emergency appointments available, now is not the time to be breaking brackets, and keeping your teeth clean will ensure the best possible result.

What now?

Keep in touch with us by following our Facebook and Instagram accounts.

While we hope to re-open after March 29th, we shall be in touch with each of you individually as soon as we can begin rescheduling appointments.  You can rest assured we are making decisions with your best interest in mind.

We will continue with essential dental care, what does that mean?

If you have an urgent need during this time, such as pain or injury, we will be available for emergency appointments. Please contact our office on 01-8456808 so we can determine the best course of action for your specific situation.

There’s a lot of uncertainty right now, but one thing we know for sure?

We look forward to seeing you back in our clinic soon!

Should you wish to speak to someone about your treatment please contact us on 01-845 6808 or send an email to info@dublinorthodontics.ie and will get back to you as soon as possible.
